OQmented is a startup in the field of microchip development for microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). We enable the world’s largest consumer and automotive companies to achieve breakthroughs for augmented reality displays, 3D camera systems and autonomous driving through innovative products. For this purpose, we develop and produce compact deflection systems for laser beams, which can be used, for example, for laser projection systems in AR glasses or for 3D cameras.

Your role:
- Technical management of agile interdisciplinary and cross-site development projects
- Project management of industrialization projects
- Responsibility for project planning and execution
- Responsibility for resource, budget and timeline planning incl. coordination with the various departments
- Presentation of project progress in controlling meetings
- Identification of topics relevant to the customer and their prioritization
- Active and continuous communication with the different internal and external stakeholders
Your qualifications:
- Completed degree (M.Sc./Ph.D.) in the field of physics, optics, technical optics, optoelectronics, or similar
- Several years of professional experience in project management in the field of optics
- Profound knowledge of agile working methods
- Experience in product development from prototype phase to production launch
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, FMEA, risk management, etc.)
- Familiarity with interacting with customers and suppliers
- Confident use of MS Office incl. MS Project and Jira or similar; project manager certifications beneficial
- German and English language skills
