About OQmented

OQmented is a young startup in the field of microchip development for microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). We enable the world’s largest consumer and automotive companies to achieve breakthroughs for augmented reality displays, 3D camera systems and autonomous driving through innovative products. For this purpose, we develop and produce compact deflection systems for laser beams, which can be used, for example, for laser projection systems in AR glasses or for 3D cameras.

About your Role

  • Responsibility for data management and test system software development
  • Development of control software for test systems
  • Programming of general user interfaces for test systems and data acquisition routines
  • Establishing a data architecture for device testing systems
  • Development of state-of-the-art analyses and models
  • Aggregating data from different sources in a consistent manner and providing data to various internal departments

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in engineering, natural science, mathematics, computer science or similar
  • At least 3+ years of professional experience in a data analysis or software development
  • A deep understanding of data analytics as well as best practices in model development and deployment (e.g. Azure Machine Learning Service/ MLflow)
  • A background in software development (python, Java, C++) and familiarity with agile software development (e.g. git, Azure DevOps)
  • You can handle structured as well as unstructured data and have experience with relational (e.g. MySQL) and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with development of data solutions in a cloud environment (e.g. Microsoft Azure)
  • Experience in chip or electronic testing would be a plus
  • Strong communication, presentation and project management skills
  • Proficiency in English (C1), German language skills would be a plus
